After a few weeks of attempting to juggle finals and building the car, the finals are over and the car is all that’s left. Members have started summer jobs and are trying to find the perfect balance between work on the car and staying focused on their job. With being able to count the remaining days on your hands and there is a noticeable hustle and bustle around the shop even if it is at ridiculous hours.

The chassis is going for painting this weekend and the team is doing everything they can to fit all the components on the car before the tear down for paint. Since the last update the uprights have come in and the upright and braking assemblies have been completed. Also, the brake lines have been fit into the car as well as fuel tank. With the anti roll bars are located, rad lines located, more engine tuning, more electrical tuning and more bondo than anyone would wish on an enemy, the team is really making every remaining second count.

While Annabelle’s body is out of the shop the team plans to put extra effort into making her look that much better. This is where the team plans to spoil Annabelle just a little more than her sister. The A arms will be painted along with the jacking bar, steering column mounts, roll hoops and the details have been measured for printing. The chassis will return to the shop Monday where all the components will be ready to be put on the car for good. The team will spend the next week dressing her up for the big event in Michigan where Annabelle both can’t be late and has to look good.
